Right after sunset you can view the tiny sliver of the Moon only 6 degrees away from the Pleides. It will only be up for a couple of hours as the moon sets around 9:45 p.m. .

While out at the Riverside Astronomical Society’s site on Saturday there were a couple of questions that came up:
Does temperature effect my webcam guidescope setup?
Can I use a shorter guidescope so I don’t have to lay in the ground?
